Dear Friends:

It is always encouraging to see God’s Grace and His Glorious Love actively displayed in the lives of His children. Too often I (and I am sure you are like me) ask God to Be Thou My Vision but then persist in my spiritual shortsightedness; yet God gently reveals His light to my blinded eyes. Too often I say I Will Sing Your Praises but then proceed to lift up myself; yet God tenderly humbles me. Too often I declare Thee Will I Love but then continue to delight in the world; yet God graciously woos me back to Him. Too often I pray Thy Way, Not Mine, O Lord but then insist on going my own way; yet God patiently draws me back to Himself.

For all of us who struggle in these ways the message of this new recording is both timely and timeless: “Be Still and know that I am God.”

It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you Hayley McGrail. I have had the opportunity to get to know Hayley over the past several years at Maranatha Baptist Bible College, first as a student in a couple of my classes and then as a fellow staff member. Not only has the Lord gifted Hayley with a beautifully clear soprano voice, but He has also gifted her with a servant’s spirit. Consequently – as a result of observing both of these qualities on numerous occasions – I approached Hayley about the possibility of making this recording. Hayley joyfully embraced the opportunity, and throughout the process her prayer has truly been, “Lord, Make My Life an Alleluia.”
