J&A WeddingJeremy Vegter is a ‘94 graduate of Maranatha Baptist Bible College who went on to attend graduate school at Bob Jones University.  He graduated from BJU with his MA in the spring of ‘96, married Alisha Allen that summer, and returned to MBBC in the fall to begin teaching.  Soon thereafter Alisha became gravely ill and for two years was completely bedridden. It was during those two years that Jeremy and Alisha began to learn what Romans 8:28-29 truly teaches: God doesn’t define “good” in human terms, He defines it as all things working together for the believer’s sanctification and Jesus Christ’s glorification.

In an effort to edify their fellow believers with this truth, Jeremy & Alisha established Victory Ministries in 1998 and by the following year had produced their first recording, Faithful & True. Since that time Jeremy and Alisha have ministered to over 250 local churches in 24 states and 2 Canadian provinces and have produced three additional recordings: Give Me Liberty (2003),  Be Still (2009) and I Am Jesus Little Lamb (2010).

In March of 2008 the Lord gave Jeremy and Alisha their first child, a precious son named Joel Douglas Makaio Vegter. (Jeremy & Alisha were in Hawaii when they found out they were expecting; “Makaio” is the Hawaiian version of “Matthew” which means “gift of God.”)

In May of 2009 the Lord redirected the Vegter’s area of service from MBBC to Chick-fil-A where Jeremy is in the process of pursuing  a Chick-fil-A Operator’s License.

Though changing careers, it is Jeremy & Alisha’s desire to see Victory Ministries continue to encourage and edify believers through the production of Christ honoring recordings.

Sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things:
his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
